Crew Management
Crew check templates
The Crew Training section in the system allows easy configuration of pre-defined Crew Check Templates, streamlining crew management tasks. For instance, for a Medical check with a typical 12-month expiry, the system captures grace periods and earliest renewal details. Managing crew certificates becomes simplified by selecting a template, inputting the issue date, and letting the system auto-calculate the remaining details.
Crew management
Augmented crewing is supported, and the system tracks promotions, instrument time, approach types, and other currency aspects. It manages both contract and permanent employees, supporting detailed record-keeping for aviation authority audits. External flight hours can be added, and the system automatically updates the pilot logbook, supporting common export formats for external logbook apps.
The crew roster provides a consolidated view, streamlining crew management processes and promoting efficient oversight. The system provides automated crew management to monitor and update pilot hours on type and currency continuously. It conducts automated checks in FRAT, FTL, and Flight Rules, ensuring adherence to global regulations. The platform integrates with external systems like Wyvern and Argus and to support the tracking of aircraft type approvals and various crew roles. Special features include flagging provisional captains and line training instructors for crew protection.
Fatigue Management
The myairops platform automates the delivery of crew roster and duty information to the Pulsar platform to ensure the latest information is presented for fatigue risk management assessment. This allows users to monitor and manage any fatigue-related safety risks to ensure that crew are performing at adequate levels of alertness.
Communications log
Discover the power of the Communication Log within the myairops flight platform. A tool designed to empower customer service and operator staff in recording and maintaining a precise log of interactions with customers. This feature proves invaluable in sectors such as medical or emergency services, where an unalterable record of communications is crucial. Similarly, charter sales activities before a trip is booked or optioned benefit from the comprehensive capabilities of the Communication Log.
The Communication Log allows users to record any information, preserving a detailed history of entries along with user attribution and timestamp. Users have the option to edit their own records, although this can be disabled to enforce an immutable log, ensuring the permanence of each entry.
The Communication Log also supports recording communication details at the initial point of booking, even before the request is fully created or saved. This feature ensures that comprehensive booking information is captured from the very first call. In the event of closing (deleting) a request without saving, the associated communication log information is also discarded, maintaining data integrity.
Crew experience
The Crew Experience feature ensures the accuracy and completeness of crew members’ flight logs, keeping currency and compliance records up-to-date. By recording additional flight details, organizations can monitor and maintain necessary currency requirements, allowing crew members to operate confidently without disruption to their flight privileges.
The Crew Experience workflow displays comprehensive records on crew currency grids, capturing detailed information tailored to each crew member’s role and flying conditions. This includes night or day flying, specific pilot hours, non-flying hours, and more. The feature allows capturing the source of the experience, such as simulator type and its approval status, crucial for rule calculations like Alternate Night Currency. The crew experience feature provides a holistic view of their skills and readiness.
Training & qualifications
Within the crew record, users easily access and validate essential information about selected crew members. Review assigned base airports, ensure accurate deployment information, and verify alignment with assigned fleets and aircraft types. The system allows defining eligibility criteria for specific aircraft types, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and operational protocols.
The myairops system provides flexibility in managing crew information related to fleets and aircraft types. Crew managers can set up new eligibility criteria, tailoring crew qualifications to unique organizational requirements. Designate crew members’ eligibility for positions and roles, granting appropriate authority and responsibilities within the operational structure.
Detailed Training & Qualification Schedule Items and Currency Items are readily available, allowing users to monitor currency and compliance, ensuring qualifications remain up-to-date. Effectively manage crew members with the user-friendly training interface, accessing individual crew profiles to track training and qualification schedules.
The Crew training area of the system provides the ability to configure pre-defined Crew Check Templates that can be used to streamline the crew management activity, for example for a Medical that typically has a 12-month expiry, grace periods along with earliest renewal details can also be captured. Through the system’s attachment and approval workflow it is also possible to add copies of the certificates and associate them to the crew and specific crew checks. These details will then be incorporated into our crew violation warning system, so if the crew certificates expire the operator will be warned at the point of crewing that a crew member’s certificate details are not current.
The management of the crew checks and certificates is further simplified through the Crew Training Dashboard which highlights items that are nearing renewal, operating within a grace period, or have expired.
Expired crew checks that are mandatory will be flagged as violations within the system and the FTL and flight rules validation engine will check that all mandatory training is in place, or a critical violation will be raised. For non-mandatory training items, the system will warn that the crew does not have the training in place within this scenario.
