Verification workflows for critical documents
To uphold the accuracy and validity of training items and crew documents, Flight incorporates document workflows. Documents such as medical certificates, training certificates, passports, etc. are subject to a comprehensive verification process. Uploaded documents remain in an unverified state until authorized users with verification permissions review and validate associated metadata. For example, the renewal date on a pilot’s medical document can be verified for accuracy. Once verified, the document is marked as such in the system until it expires or is revoked, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is readily available.
Enhanced organization and accessibility
Flight ensures logical document storage for easy retrieval and access to pertinent information. Attachments can be associated with specific entities, such as trips, legs, or aircraft records, fostering efficient organization. This centralized approach to document management streamlines operations, promotes collaboration, and ensures critical information is easily accessible, saving valuable time and enhancing productivity.
Passport selection
The passport selection feature includes various columns like issuing country and expiry date to facilitate the identification of the required passport for individuals. The system now supports the ability to set a preferred passport in cases where it cannot automatically select the best passport for crew or passenger members holding multiple passports from the same issuing country.
